Common questions.
Do patients need a referral?
Ohio allows direct access to physical therapy, so many patients can start without one. Medicare and some insurance plans require physician certification of the plan of care, and we send it to your office when needed.
How fast will my patient be seen?
We contact referred patients within one business day and offer every new patient an evaluation within 24 hours.
Can I request a specific clinician?
Yes. Write the clinician's name on the referral and we'll schedule your patient with them whenever possible.
Do you follow surgical protocols?
Yes. Send your protocol with the referral and we'll follow it, along with any precautions or restrictions.
What reports will I receive?
An initial plan of care after the evaluation, a progress note during care and a discharge summary at the end, all faxed to your office.
Which location should I send to?
Either. Note a preference on the referral, or we'll schedule at the location most convenient for your patient.
